TÎRGU MUREŞ
Born in Pietriș, Mures country,1962
"The tapestry is a way to express ideas and to have connections with the world .I think this is the possibility to understand and to make myself understood which doesn’t mean that I understand and make myself understood. To weave means to creat new forms and also getting out from your own substance , as the spider does , which weaves the net from itself.
I don’t see contemporary society as something unitary and monolitic , it is differentiated and articulated in different and contradictory situations. Its tranformations create problems , conflicts , tensions. Its positive aspects make more dissonant the contrasts ,generating new interior fights. To live a value crises means at the same time to act for restructuring new values. The objective of this action is the World in its vertical and horizontal significances’ extension. This situation creates new myths. These are daily myths , those through which the reflection of the world becomes more painfully , natural and profound. The world segmented in days , hors , seconds , keeps challenging you to come up with new approaches , attempts and experiencies in this domain."
